Colne Road Surgery

    We are a NHS general medical practice located on the main road between Burnley and Nelson, just to the north of Burnley town centre. We provide services under the general medical services (GMS) contract for a population of just under 5,000 in the Burnley area. EMERGENCIES

    The surgery telephone 01282 456564 is manned for emergency calls from 8am to 6.30pm weekdays - excluding Bank Holidays. At all other times emergencies are now handled through NHS Direct on 08452 262626. Please use this number, obtainable from the surgery answer machine when the surgery telephone is not manned. Phone calls may be recorded for verification. 

    REMEMBER that this service is for MEDICAL EMERGENCIES ONLY!

On-Line APPOINTMENTS

     First time users must register with the practice first.  Once registered, enter the on-line appointment site and 'create a new account', this will give the user a password,  you will then be able to make appointments 2 weeks in advance. here Warning please keep your password safe.

ROUTINE PRESCRIPTIONS

    In addition to our practice leaflet repeat prescriptions are obtainable at prescriptions@ColneRoadSurgery.co.uk.
